Hi everyone! It was nice to read this thread as I had de ivf in same Ukrainian clinic a couple of months ago. It was interesting to read about good and bad aspects of this clinic. First of all I should say when I first read about biotexcom and Ukrainian clinics in general I was 90% sure we won't go there. The country has unstable situation, war, problems with economics, etc. Also it's far away, I have no clue how good(or bad) its medicine is. So I automatically crossed Ukraine from our list. My husband and I continued our search. I was surprised because I was facing reviews about Ukrainian clinics all the time. Most of them were positive. I sent private messages to a couple of women who used biotexcom. We discussed the clinic, all pros and cons. I really liked that the clinic has lower price, uses fresh eggs and provides with all needs which are necessary for foreign clients. Also I googled this clinic and it turned out biotex has high success rates and it takes first places in international rankings of clinics all over the world. I discussed everything with my husband and we decided give this clinic a chance. We sent them an email. They responded very quickly and appointment date of our first meeting with their doctor.

Our first visit was in November 2016. Kiev seemed to us very friendly place. We were met and brought to the clinic by taxi. And here was the first thing we didn't like - long lines and crowded halls. The clinic is not big and there were too many people. Our manager told us that there will be new offices soon and the situation with lines will be better. Anyway we were standing(because all seats were taken) for hours and we were so tired by the end of the day. But we saw couples from all over the world, pregnant women(there were many of them) and all these also convinced us to sign a contract with this clinic.

Our second visit was in February 2017. We came for the pick-up of the biological fatherís sperm, fertilization of donorís eggs and embryos transfer. I've got pregnant from the first attempt. Now I'm 14 week pregnant after many years of infertility. Though there were some inconveniences, I think the most important is final result.

Hi girls! Thanks for sharing your stories. I'm so glad I found someone who experienced ivf with donor eggs. Last year I had failed try of IVF with my own eggs. Now doctors say I need to use donor eggs. This is my only chance to become a mother. My husband and I discussed this option. We've been thinking about it for a couple of months now. But both of us feel like we are not mentally ready for this step. Reading this and other forums I almost stopped torment myself with thoughts about baby' and mine kinship. But now I really want to know the whole process. How to prepare for the transfer? Is this procedure same as usual ivf? I'll be grateful for any information. I wish everyone best of luck!
