Did you know that IVF increases you and your baby's chances of developing cancer?

If you knew and were told by your IVF clinic that undergoing IVF increases your risks of developing cancer and in your children, would you still do it?

It's hard to answer strictly... On the one hand woman desperately wants to have children and she can't. IVF is her only chance. Yes, it increases risks of cancer but doesn't give 100% prognosis. On the other hand risks can be high. What mother would put her child's life in pain and suffering? Also there is risk for woman to die and left her kid an orphan. There is still adoption option. Many couples want to have blood-related kids. Donít get me wrong, I think adoption is a very good thing. But not everyone is ready to make this step. Personally for me it's really hard to make a definite answer. I think all depends from situation and doctor's recommendations. I had IVF with donor eggs a couple of months ago. I should say this information is confusing for me now...
